- Client was a non-profit and had a tight budget for the event. In-house AV quoted $97K for all the equipment and labor. O’Design secured an outside AV company for $64K including the venue charges.
Phoenix, AZ / 2700 ppl / Five-day event / General Session, 25 breakout rooms, AV Management for vendors
- This client was a medical association with a lot of educational components and vendors. In-House AV quoted for $719K without the vendors AV needs, and O’Design was able to successfully manage this large event with vendors, charging stations, and extra equipment for $343K.
Denver, CO / 500 ppl / One-day event / General Session Only
- This is a returning client that conducts the same event every quarter and is always confident that O’Design will meet their budget. In-house AV quoted for $48K for the one-day event, and O’Design was able to save the client $14K by using an outside AV company.
Chicago, IL / 170 – 300 ppl / Four-day event / General Session, 3 Breakout rooms, and a Ballroom for Award Dinner
- The event was in a heavy Union labor market. In-house AV quoted $108K for the equipment and Union labor. O’Design managed all Union logistics (including scheduling with local Union and communicating with the required Union payroll company), by using an outside AV company and adding an extra internet option the final cost was $90K.
