Still important to have Live Q&A after virtual sessions
Consider your Virtual Platform as your Venue
- Select a platform first
- Be considerate of the time to build (4-12 weeks)
Q1/Q2 groups and organizations are staying with virtual events
Virtual Platforms are building mobile apps for on the go attendance
Virtual Platforms are adding options for more customizations, 3D animations, curated (speed dating) formatted meetings, and embedded video meetings for small groups
Be considerate and share that you have Chinese or Russian attendees
- Some platforms are not accessible in these countries
- Regulations are changing constantly, but you want to address that need upfront
Many people are still hesitant to travel and convene in large groups even in for Q3/Q4
Hybrid Events are great options to begin planning for the latter part of 2021

Consider the social distancing regulations within a state, city, and venue
- This will affect the room layout and therefore the AV needs
